Happy Valentine’s Day!♥ I just put together this recipe and I am really satisfied with it! Again this is super easy and you don’t need to be too exact when measuring ingredients – anything can be adjusted to your taste, so definitely give it a try especially if you want a last-minute surprise dessert 😉

Ingredients (For 2 servings)

Vanilla panna cotta

•1 tbsp (3gr) powder gelatine

•1/4 cup heavy cream

•1/4 cup milk

•2 strips orange/tangerine

•1 tsp sugar

•1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Tangerine syrup

•1 tangerine

•1 tbsp corn starch

•3-5 tbsp sugar

1.Sprinkle gelatine over juice squeezed from your 2 strips of tangerine. Let sit for at least 5 minutes.

2.On a stovetop, mix heavy cream, milk, and sugar (optional) over medium heat. Right when it starts to boil, take the mixture out, continue to stir gently. Mix with the gelatin in (1) until it dissolves completely.

3.Pour the mixture into cups and refrigerate.

4.While waiting it’s a good idea to make the syrup! Just boil sugar and water on high heat until you see really big bubbles, then turn down to medium heat for about 5 minutes, then put the tangerine strips in and give it a few stir. Stir in a separate bowl 1 tbsp corn starch+1 tbsp water, then pour into the boiling sugar. It would take about 5-10 minutes, but take it our when you get the desired consistency of a syrup.

5.When the panna cotta thickens (30-40 minutes), spoon your syrup on top and enjoy! Good luck!
